Part 1 – Slave Wanted. All societies have their inherent contradictions. The Gynarchy is no exception. And perhaps one of its most pronounced contradictions is the way in which it selects its slaves; for whilst it is the mistresses who advertise for slaves, it is the male slaves who choose their mistresses. It’s just the way of things. 50 year old slave Thomas was in the market for a new mistress once again. Slaves may choose their mistresses, but it is a mistress’s prerogative to dump her slave. And slave Thomas had been well and truly dumped by his mistress of some 13 years, mistress Angela, simply because she had become bored with him. By law she was not required to offer him any more detailed explanation than that. And so he found himself staying in a slave-hostel for homeless slaves, desperately searching through the small ads in the ‘Slavefinder’ magazine, looking for a position as a personal slave to a new mistress. They exist in the shadows of the glorious Gynarchy – the ‘feral footslaves’; male footslaves who have either run away from their mistresses, and who can’t be returned because their mistresses don’t want them back; or personal footslaves who have been deliberately abandoned by their mistresses as failures – left to fend for themselves on the mean streets of the capital city. They are, arguably, the worst thing a male footslave can be in the female-dominated Gynarchy – they are homeless and mistressless; unowned and unwanted. And they therefore have to survive by scavenging on the streets, eking out a meagre living from the feet and footwear of female passers-by. I am employed by a television production company as a personal footslave to one of their contracted actresses. I think she is enjoying it though! I too have a role in the soap opera, but it is only a bit part – that of ‘miss Julie’s personal footslave.’ It is, needless to say, a non-speaking role!
