The cinema footslave is delighted whenever his customers' boots are dirty, as it gives him his only opportunity to taste the outside world - albeit mixed in with bitter bootleather! 

The wearer of the boots, meanwhile, tucks in to something much more palatable - a sticky bun. How the slave looks up to her and envies her!

Both the formally-attired businesswoman, and the casually-dressed student, mean business when they rest their weary feet on the bus-stop footrest – the former on her laptop, the latter on her phone!
