Row

Sometimes a customer-mistress just wants to let off steam after a row with her boyfriend - and who better to take out her female frustrations on than the local, male public humble-head? He is, after all, helpless and hapless at her feet - and by having him kiss her sneakers, she gets to feel good about herself once again; superior; respected; a goddess!

With a face like thunder, the pretty customer-mistress marches angrily towards my humble head

I can feel the vibrations from her angry footsteps on the concrete!

The angry, female sneakers and socks stop directly in front of my confined, foot-level face

Then the right sneaker is unceremoniously shoved towards my menial mouth!

I must now kiss-respect the sneaker - and fervently so...

...in the hope of emolliating its pretty, female wearer!

She angrily switches feet in front of my face!

I kiss the other flowery-themed, feminine sneaker

...and study admiringly its accompanying, bright orange sock!

The sock of one in whose power and at whose mercy I now very much find myself!

The Law states that I am vicariously responsible for this young woman's boyfriend upsetting her...

...even though I have never met him, or her, before in my life!

A slave is held responsible for whatever his masters wish him to be held responsible for!

My view of the angry, orange sock!

I make sure to kiss the dirty white rubbery toes of the sneakers...

...but the angry young woman shouts down at me to kiss the flowery, canvas area of her sneaker also!

I hastily obey!

It is most definitely NOT my place to argue with a female sneaker (or sock!)

I'm stupid - and must simply do as I'm told by my betters!

No wonder they look down upon me - morally as well as literally!

Eventually, the young woman turns and heads off...

...a smug, self-satisfied smile now lighting up her pretty face

Not that I can see her face, of course...

...but I can sense it!

All I can actually see are the backs of her sneakers and socks...

...as befits a public humble-head!

My customers' sneakers and socks are my life - be they angry, calm, or just plain bored!
