The house slave of two demanding young women must, inevitably, become a multitasker - able to perform several slavish tasks at once. Otherwise, he can expect to be (justifiably) punished!
Here we see Ms Liu and Ms Wei's old house slave multitasking as Ms Liu's footrest and coffee-cup holder whilst she relaxes on the living room sofa watching TV, and awaiting the return of her younger sister from college, so that the two of them can have their customary late afternoon snack prior to dinner.

As soon as the front door opens and Liu's sister Ms Wei appears in the doorway, the two girls greet each other. Ms Liu, absent-mindedly, places her hot coffee cup on the old slave man's kneeling back as she gets up to greet her sister - thereby demonstrating how she very much thinks of her slave as a mere 'thing', a piece of household furniture, rather than as a person (in this case, he magically transforms from being her footrest to her coffee table!)
The burning base of the hot cup causes considerable pain to the old fool, but he dare not make a sound or move a muscle - until or unless he is summoned by one of his two mistresses!
But they simply head off together to the kitchen for their afternoon snack - ignoring their suffering servant!

Liu and Wei are enjoying their snack and a chat in the kitchen area of their opulent apartment, when Ms Wei suddenly realises that the slave had not greeted her at the front door of the apartment and taken her backpack from her in his customary manner. She therefore summons him to the kitchen for a verbal rebuke and a slap across the face!
Needless to say, the slave has no excuse for his negligent behaviour towards Ms Wei. The fact that her elder sister had been using him at that time as a coffee table, and that he did not have any female permission to move towards the front door in order to greet and assist Ms Wei, is neither here nor there. As a slave, he is required (by Law) to multitask in order to serve and to please both his pretty mistresses at once - even when that is not physically possible!
After the stinging female slap - which leaves a nasty bruise on his wrinkly old face - the slave duly apologises to Ms Wei by kissing her feet, but she augments his punishment by saying he is to be denied food and water for a week. Ms Liu, meanwhile, watches approvingly as her belligerent sister chastises the negligent slave!

Ms Wei suddenly summons the old slave to the kitchen in order to rebuke him for not collecting her college backpack at the front door!

Later that evening, Ms Liu - realising that the slave's failure to greet and assist her sister with her backpack had been caused by her using him as a coffee table - takes pity on him, and comes up with a fitting solution for the prohibition on his having any drinking water for a week. She summons the pathetic old slave to her bedroom where she orders him to wash her feet, and then drink her dirty footwater!
The old slave man is, as ever, grateful to his kindly mistress Liu for her kindness and consideration towards him for, even though the water is contaminated with her sticky footsweat and toejam, it is nonetheless water fit for a stupid and incompetent footslave like him to drink.
He therefore gratefully laps up his mistress Liu's dirty footwater straight from the basin as she turns to go to sleep. It's quite a large basin, so it's likely to take him all night to consume every last drop of the foot-fouled water. But lap it all up he must. He certainly doesn't want to be accused of negligence or disobedience twice in one day!
