She keeps her shackled slave in a wooden pen outside her hut. He is not worthy to enter her humble abode.

The slave works hard under the blistering hot, African sun – from dawn until dusk – and always under the close supervision of his beautiful, but haughty, African mistress. Her husband enthusiastically approves, and encourages his wife to beat the slave!

There is no respite for the slave until the very end of his long, working day – when he must again kiss the dusty feet of his African masters and betters, and thank them for working him so hard before they retire to the comfort of their hut. The slave, of course, must, as always, sleep outside in his makeshift wooden pen, listening to the sounds of his masters’ lovemaking.
