Sometimes just the hint of a customer's sock is more humbling and thought-provoking than a vast expanse of sock. It somehow seems more of a privilege to see the merest slither of an otherwise hidden sock on a customer-mistress's foot. Every individual stitch becomes more precious to the lowly footslave-eye!
