A public footservant really is at the mercy of all who approach. Not only has he no say whatsoever in their choice of footwear; he likewise has no say over how they choose to treat him. They can simply have him kiss their feet (his default position). Or they might choose to have him lickshine their dirty shoes or boots. Or they might prefer to kick him in the face. Yes, whatever the choice of the customer master or mistress, a public humble head is 100% in their power and at their mercy!

After a long, hard day at the office, Ms Rowena madam demands that her personal footslave take off her boots and rub her sweaty-socked feet whilst she relaxes on her sofa.

This superb customer-mistress is wearing sock-revealing shoes. I can actually see sections of her inner socks as I kiss-respect the exteriors of her shoes!

As a public humble head, I must show the utmost respect for all my customers - no matter how kooky or eccentric their choice of apparel.
