A Public Humble Head's Lament
Sneakers and socks are all I see,
As people impose their feet on me.
Mocking and laughter is all I hear,
Their words designed to fill me with fear.
Humiliation is all I feel,
As down in the dirt I constantly kneel.
Leather and dirt is all I taste,
As my life as a slave goes to waste.
Sneakers and socks are all I smell,
As my customers tell me to go to hell.
