Resolutely Focussed




































Fortunately, I am not distracted by the customer-mistress's phone conversation high above me whilst I am kiss-respecting her sneakers as, not only am I fitted with a sock-concentrator device, but I am compelled to listen to a continuous loop of the word 'socks', spoken in a whispered female voice, through a set of immovable and noise-reducing headphones - so all I can see, hear and think about is the customer's socks.

I say 'fortunately', because if I did allow my menial mind to become distracted - even for one split millisecond - my temples would receive the most almighty, and painful, electric shock!

As for the pretty customer, she remains resolutely focussed on her phone conversation - whatever that is about!
