The laundromat slave must hand-wash the customers' dirty socks separately from the rest of their clothes which go into the automatic washing machines.

His best hope is that the short, black socks will be in her next wash


So he might get to hand-wash them next week!


For her part she despises the humble laundromat slave


Having to hand wash her dirty, used socks!


She thinks of him as a fool...
