A cringing slave kneels next to his pretty mistress's feet in the cafe, studying her SHOES and SOCKS. He knows if he doesn't do so, he shall be sorely WHIPPED by the man sitting opposite her - her beloved husband, his master-sir!

He must simultaneously have regard for his MASTER'S SOCKS...

...since these are the SOCKS of the man who will WHIP him...

...if he takes his eyes off the MISTRESS'S SOCKS!

Either way, the pathetic slave is subject to the SOCKS OF HIS BETTERS!

He lives in a WORLD of FEAR and SOCKS!

SOCKS and the WHIP are his lowly way of life!
