Ms Mukta kindly shows me her holiday snaps on her phone,
knowing that I can never get to see these places as I am permanently confined
in the pillory.
She also, equally kindly, shows me her SOCKS!
She can’t resist, of course, mockingly asking me if I have
been anywhere nice this year. But she has every right to mock me and to
contrast her fabulous life with my pathetic life, since she is my infinite
better.
Ms Mukta kindly shares her holiday photos of her and her husband having recently returned from abroad |
She points out, in particular, all the fun her husband got up to - including jet-skiing |
She then mockingly asks me if I have been anywhere nice this year... |
...before sharing her SOCKS with me |
She is wearing purple and white SOCKS, to match her purple jacket |
My humbling view of her SOCKTOP |
If I focus really hard, I can even make out the individual lines of STITCHING in her SOCK, and the CREASES! |
Ms Mukta proudly points out the contrast between the elasticated WHITE STITCHING at the very top of the SOCK... |
...and the PURPLE STITCHING of the main body of the SOCK |

She's right to point out this stark contrast, as her SOCK is, like her, FABULOUS!
It is the SOCK of a GODDESS! |
I humbly praise Ms Mukta's SOCK... |
...before she laughingly turns her back on me and walks away... |
...as she is perfectly free to do! |
Leaving me admiring the BACK of her SOCK... |
...and humbly wishing I could follow it to heel and serve it... |
...so that I might accompany her SOCK on Ms Mukta's many exciting adventures! |
But instead I must languish here in the pillory. I'm going nowhere!
