Sight For Sore Eyes

Regular Gynarchy girl, Ms Mukta madam, aided and abetted by her good friend Ms Karen madam, likes nothing more than to poke lowly drain slaves in the eye with a stick. And not just in the eye, but in the mouth; on the lips; up the nose; on the forehead etc.

Taking her cue, quite literally, from her friend Ms Karen, she crouches down to poke the drain slave in the central town square in one of his eyes. Despite being in pain, with his other, unpoked eye he is able to witness her smiling face beaming cruelly down at him, and that of her companion in crime (not that it is a crime) Ms Karen madam, as well as their shoes and socks when they subsequently take it in turn to deliberately show him the dirty soles of their everyday footwear – black leather ankleboots with thick, white bootsocks in the case of Ms Karen; low-top, red, white and blue sneakers with flowery-patterned anklesocks in the case of Ms Mukta. He even gets to see a flash of their bare legs - truly a sight for sore eyes!

As the two girls walk triumphantly away from him, the eavesdropping drain slave overhears Ms Mukta madam in her distinctive, Indian accent explaining to her friend Ms Karen madam that she gets such a buzz out of poking at drain slaves with a stick precisely because they are so helpless and vulnerable. It gives her a real sense of power.

Ms Karen madam agrees, and decides that she will poke the next drain slave they encounter today. She believes there is another one at the far end of the square?

Ms Mukta confirms that there is.
