Taunting The Drain Slave

Her accent is distinctly East-European as she crouches down to taunt the lowly drain-slave:

‘Ha! Ha! How you are liking it, you the dirty drain slave? How you are liking it that people are walking over your face every day with their dirty feet? How you are liking that they are scraping the dirt from their shoes onto your face? Ha! Ha! I laugh at you, the slave! I look down on you. You are the filth beneath the shoes! Ha! Ha!’

They are, of course, rhetorical questions – she does not expect, or require, the slave to answer. He is, after all, in no position to answer. I mean, who ever heard of a talking drain?

Note please how the young woman’s skull necklace and arm tattoo are equally disparaging of the slave, laughing at him along with their mistress. And rightly so – for he is surely a figure of fun? And note too how the bright and intelligent young woman has a carefree smile on her pretty face as she walks away from the slave. She cares not one iota about his wellbeing, and will do nothing to 'rescue' him. That's because she knows he is where he belongs!
