Mutual Understanding

A Righteous woman, speaking in the arcane language of the cult of the Righteous, quizzes me in the public stocks late at night as she has me kiss her Righteous boots:

‘Why art thou being punished, slave?’

I respond in the language of humble slavespeak, a different language from Self-Righteous Speak, but we nevertheless understand one another:

‘Oh pray, Righteous mistress, if it pleases you Righteous mistress madam, this slave is being deservedly punished for neglecting to properly lickshine his mistress’s boots, madam, if you will forgive this disrespectful, negligent slave madam?’

‘Then thou dost indeed fully deserve thy torment, weak and feeble slave. A lady’s boots MUST be shined by the tongue of an infidel like thyself! Shall I apply the WHIP to thy back in order to augment thy suffering?’

‘Oh pray Righteous mistress, thanking you kindly Righteous mistress madam, this slave is grateful for the mistress’s kind offer, mistress, and acknowledges that he would be well deserving of the additional pain and suffering of the whip, mistress madam, but implores the mistress to show sweet Righteous-womanly mercy upon him, madam, on account of his being weak and fearful of the WHIP and its mighty, intolerable sting, miss. I kiss your boots, madam, in supplication and begging, miss. Please don’t whip me, miss?’

‘It is not thy decision, impotent slave. I am Righteous and thou art a sinner. Thou art in my POWER and at my MERCY. If I decide to WHIP thee, then WHIPPED thou shalt be! Kiss thee my boot and study thee my sock, whilst I ponder thy lowly fate at my feet!’

‘Yes, madam.’

I obediently kiss the Righteous mistress’s BOOT, and study her SOCK, whilst she ruminates on whether or not to WHIP me!

‘Why art thou being punished, slave?’

...in an effort to avoid her Righteous WHIP!
