Passers-By

Even passers-by sometimes stop for a quick footkiss from the municipal footslave. And why not? After all, it’s free of charge, and reminds them that they are superior beings who are worthy of a slave’s worship and adoration.

Points to note about this happy scene are:

• The happy, young couple seem oblivious to the world, being wholly content in each other’s company – even whilst the young woman is stopping to have her outstretched foot kissed
• The young man is very supportive of his partner as she lords it over the slave
• The young woman’s sneakers are a grubby white, but her socks are black. Do you think her boyfriend has noticed, or even cares, that his girlfriend is wearing black socks? Almost certainly not! And yet such details dominate the pathetic footslave's thoughts, for he is very much an admirer of the white sneakers/black socks combo in a customer-mistress. He even studies the weave of her black sock, during her all-too-brief sojourn at his municipal footslave stand
• No words need to pass between the mistress and the slave. He knows what he must do, and she expects him to do it. He must kiss her graciously presented foot, and try not to be distracted by the glimpse of her black sock
• After the footkiss, the couple leave as quickly as they came – without a care in the world, other than for each other
