Serving Generation After Generation

He has been a municipal footslave in this same spot all his adult life – kissing generation after generation of his betters’ feet for more than 60 years, day in and day out, night after night, 365 days a year. And today is no exception, as a young woman of 18 years casually has her sneakers kissed just to make herself feel good. She revels in her power over the old man, though she quickly forgets about him as she is distracted by the contents of her phone.

Footwear styles may have changed over the decades, but what hasn’t changed is the street dirt attached to his patrons’ shoes, and their perennially disparaging attitude towards him. Furthermore, his patrons didn’t have mobile phones back in the day!

He has served generation after generation at his municipal footblock...

...and today will be no exception as an 18 year old representative of the younger generation stops gloatingly in front of him

She says nothing as she riaes her sneakered foot onto the concrete footblock...

...her sense of entitlement means she knows the slave has no option but to kiss-respect her feet

She swiftly loses interest in him, turning her female attention to the contents of her phone

Meanwhile, the old footslave kisses feet for what must be the 10 millionth time!

All his life he has been kissing the public's feet...

...the feet of his betters.

He has tasted millions of shoes and boots...

...and observed millions of socks!

This has been, is now and always will be his lowly life...

...humbly kissing the feet of his betters!

The young woman arrogantly continues to focus on the contents of her phone high above the slave...

...until such time as she is ready to leave

Then she turns her back on him and saunters off...

...without a thought for him

The pathetic footslave, meanwhile, watches his customer's departing feet with humility and admiration...

...as he has done with countless customers' feet down through the years

He longingly looks at the dirt his menial mouth was unable to reach - on the very soles of her shoes!

Dirt, shoes, socks, humiliation...

...such is his lowly life!

A Footslave's Reflections

  As nighttime draws the curtain on yet another humble day kissing and licking the shoes and boots of my betters, I humbly reflect on my lowly life. I feel privileged to be a public humble-head, kissing the feet of my superiors and getting to know their socks. Sure, if I was a personal footslave to a master or mistress I would become much more intimately acquainted with their feet and footwear – particularly their smells ! But ‘variety is the spice of slave-life’, as they say, and as no two pairs of socks are the same, I certainly get to observe a lot of variety! Every stitch, every crease, every area of bobbling on my esteemed customers’ socks -some of whom are regular visitors to my confined face, others just ships that pass in the night – is worthy of my slavish praise and adoration, since it is a feature of the sock of one of my betters, I being inferior to all !
