Ms Mukta orders the new household slave to tidy her and her
husband’s sock drawers. She explains that she expects each and every pair of
socks to be rolled up into neat little balls and placed carefully and
respectfully into the correct sock drawer for inspection by her and her husband
later on.
She further explains to the slave that from now on he must
think of nothing but his masters’ socks, since he is now their ‘sockieboy slave’.
His duties will include putting their socks on their feet and removing them
from their feet; straightening their socks on their ankles throughout the day;
massaging their socked feet; mouthwashing their dirty socks; face-ironing their
freshly laundered socks; and the general care and maintenance of their socks.
Likewise, when he is serving their friends and visitors to
their home, he must have slavish regard for their guests’ socks, and he must never
look at anyone above the sock.
The pathetic and downcast slave humbly confirms to Ms Mukta
madam and her husband that he will be a good sockslave to them and their
friends, and he praises and blesses Ms Mukta’s and master Simon sir’s socks
whilst humbly kissing their feet, before beginning his lowly task of tidying
their respective sock drawers.
