Barely Looking At Me

Some customers barely look at me, or acknowledge me in any way, other than to present their feet for respect-kissing. Take the haughty young woman who is using me right now, for instance. She hasn't spoken a single word to me, and I would be tempted to describe her as 'stand-offish', were she not standing so close to my confined face!

I am still devastated to see her go, however, as I truly believe I could be a good, full-time slave to her socks, if she would only give me the humbling opportunity!

This pretty customer can't even bring herself to look down upon me as I lip-attend to her footwear

She believes herself to be too good for me and too high and mighty to look down at a mere slave

She's right, of course!

And, for my humble part, I am fit only to look her in the SOCK!

Indeed, all my esteemed customers' SOCKS mark the upper limit of my slavish eyeline!

Still, it would be nice, sometimes, if the customer spoke to me - if only to bark down orders at me or criticise me!

I already know I'm a nothing and a nobody. A mere weed at their feet!

But being spoken down to and shouted at should be par for the course for a slave like me!

The customer has every right to snap at me and insult me, and I wish they would all exercise that right!

But, then again, the Law states that the customer is always right!

This particular stand-offish and taciturn young woman turns to leave me as silently as she came

I'm sure she's a barrel of laughs with her friends - the life and soul of the party?

But because I mean nothing to her, as a mere public feetkisser...

...her SHOES and SOCKS turn their backs on me and walk out of my lowly life

I am devastated and distraught to see them go!

For I truly, perhaps foolishly, believe that I would be a good full-time, permanent slave for her SOCKS!

Those pretty SOCKS would want for nothing, if I was their personal slave!

Every STITCH would be studied, admired and worshipped!

Every area of bobbling would be nosed and sniffed!
