In The Gynarchy of Barbaria, the term ‘Sockiegirl’ refers to
any young woman (18+) who wears socks. It is a term of endearment used by male
slaves amongst themselves to refer to a particularly attractive mistress who is
wearing socks on her feet, but would never be used to address a mistress
directly. Instead, a slave would be required to use a much more respectful
term, such as ‘sock mistress’ or ‘sock mistress madam’.
A ’sockieboy’ on the other hand (lower case) is a
disparaging term used by mistresses for sock-obsessed slaves. Many footslaves,
both public and private, end up being ‘sockieboys’ as they become obsessed with
their betters’ socks, spending so much time as they do at their betters’ feet
and footwear. Indeed, some Gynarchy footslaves develop a medically recognised
mania about their betters’ socks and are mockingly referred to as ‘sock sillies’
or ‘sock fools’. How they are despised by everyone!
Incidentally, a master wearing socks is always referred to as ‘sock master
sir’ by a footslave.
In this scene, we see an African sockiegirl using a
sockieboy slave to good effect, as her white socks are, teasingly, just visible
beneath her black trouser hems:
‘Kiss my feet, slave, and kiss them very well!’
‘Yes, sock mistress. At once, sock mistress madam.’
