The humble-head slave diligently moves his menial mouth over the surface of her boot in order to extract any dirt

She watches his humble work from on high

The slave dare not look at her above the sock

How he admires this bright young woman's boots and socks...

...the boots and socks of an office goddess. He, literally, looks up to her socks!

The sock that so mesmerises him!

Meanwhile, the young-woman wearer of the boots and socks is seemingly unimpressed by him

Indeed, if the expression on her pretty face is anything to by, she utterly despises him!

He's just a common-or-garden bootlicker for superior young women like her!

Morning, noon and night the city centre drain slave gets walked all over by uncaring customers. Most of them don’t give a second thought, or even realise he’s down there beneath their dirty sandals and shoes! As far as they are concerned, they’re just walking over a dirty municipal drain – part of the city’s sewer system! Casually and unconcernedly walking over the drain slave He gets a good view of her pink flip-flops... ...along with her pedicured toenails! Such feminine footwear - effectively walking all over him! He can see the ingrained dirt on her flip-flop soles She can't even see him at all - or, at least, she's not even looking, being engrossed on her telephone call high above the lowly drain slave! All too soon, as with nearly all his customers, she's gone - getting on with her superior life! She's a student from the local uni, out for a night on the town. She walks over dozens of drain slaves during the course of the evening, and doesn't give a second thought to any one of them! Her sandal treads almost touch his face... ...as she casually strolls across the bars of his drain Her sandal sole is momentarily close enough for him to be able to inspect the dirt in between the treads! He can also discern the shape of her well-turned ankle beneath her pink slacks But he is powerless to touch either her shoe or her ankle!
